I love working at the University of Phoenix. However, they only call sporadically for classes so it is not an income you can depend on. The materials are good, the website and technology are excellent and the courses are fun to teach. I just wish I taught more of them! They provide good training and support but allow teachers free reign to teach how they want.

I enjoy the students and teaching adults. Many are military, single parents and older students. Pros Flexibility, good resources. Cons Don't call you enough to teach classes. The financial aid department has you working every type of account and their quality grading is too intense for this. Things constantly change so you can't keep up and then you get docked for a typo. They want you to be like a perfect robot without mistakes. But the stress every day makes you not want to stay a lifetime.
