I needed to get the repair performed before the weekend and brought the car in two days early to ensure that the weekend goal could be met. My mistake! I feel that my repair service needs are being denied as a cost cutting measure. If a Saturn dealership can not reliably and immediately obtain needed warranty parts, then the problems at this dealership are far greater than I first suspected.
I have reason to believe that my experience is not unique. Customer dissatisfaction appears to be the daily mode of operation in the service department of the Austin Saturn dealership.
This opinion is based on conversations with other customers while waiting for and during courtesy rides to and from work.
There isn't a continuous improvement effort being made to meet customer needs. Failure is accepted and that fact is also obvious from my conversations with the service department employees. Covert Saturn has failed me every time that I have needed repairs! I detailed the spare parts problem in the Customer Satisfaction survey that I completed after the first service department failure.
Why bother to have the surveys if they do not act on the results? This dealership has a very surly self-righteous service This dealership has a very surly self-righteous service rep. The work is very low quality. My car was in an accident, which I acknowledge can raise a lot of issues but the dealer's repair work was way below standards. They had my car over 60 days in 3 months. The work was slow, sloppy and incomplete. I got it back with bolts visibly loose, parts installed backwards, insufficient fluid in radiator caused third party maintenance.
It has been returned to the dealer 6 times so far to fix the same set of problems. It is still not fixed properly. Go to hell amreican car dealerships. Burn in hell. You Dont deserve a bailout. Your cars suck that how come you are near bankruptcy I know folks that work times as hard for min. We ordered some replacement hatchback struts for our We ordered some replacement hatchback struts for our Saturn LW2. Brian Ray sent us an e-mail asking about our shipping preference and the struts were sent promptly and arrived in good condition.
However, we had no idea how to install them and were thinking that we would have to have them installed by a local garage. We asked Mr. Ray if he could send us some instructions. He replied that no pre-printed instructions were available, but he wrote out clear, detailed instructions in his reply e-mail. We followed these and the installation come off without a hitch.
We are retired and have a limited budget, so we really appreciate Mr. Ray "going the extra mile" and saving us the installation cost. We would recommend your dealership because you obviously train your employees to be helpful.
