Her teacher has gone above and beyond for the students in her class, where there is a wide range of strengths and needs. My daughter has been able to access the school's resources outside of her classroom that have really helped her build from where she is. I am impressed with the approach to differentiation across the school, where all students get a chance to work in small reading groups tailored to their level. The diversity of the school is amazing, and I feel fortunate to be part of a community that represents so many countries from around the world.

The school also has a unique partnership with Seattle University to offer after-school enrichment as well as family engagement opportunities. My child does not fit the box of "normal" children.

So she is being pushed out of the school. The principal has assaulted her 3 times. The principal doesn't care. Because of the principals distaste for my child she did not make the basketball team because the coach is the principals daughter. I have had to fight for my child to get her education under FAPE.
