Throughout these years I built a clientele of my own, from brides to boss babes, and my love for freelancing grew. In July the M. I decided to take my lemons and turn them into lemonade! I took my favorite elements of my job, the makeup and my clients, and turned it into something that is my own. Welcome to Makeup by Kamielea. Now on The Knot! Kamie is so talented.

She did my makeup for my wedding and it was flawless. I will always use her when I need my makeup done now. This has worked really well for me. It's kinda funny bc my kids are always like- wow mom you look so beautiful- as opposed to my normal fresh out of bed look : I have the makeup application down to 15 minutes!

Not counting lashes Meagan Brown is the absolute best. She did a perfect job with my wedding hair and makeup, and I could not be happier with how it all turned out. Everything that she did translated perfectly both in person and in the photos. Some of my bridesmaids had not had hair and makeup professionally done before, but we all fell completely in love with the work that Meagan and her team did.

Meagan and her team each crafted a personalized look for each of me and my bridesmaids based on our personalities and tastes, and it was all exactly how we had envisioned for the wedding.

And, we had such a blast with her while getting ready for the wedding! Meagan is not only great at what she does, she is also extremely professional, responsive, and a genuinely lovely, warm, and fun person to be around. I will recommend Meagan to any and all of my friends who are in need of hair and makeup services because I know that Meagan will deliver nothing but the best.

Meagan did the makeup for my wedding, and she was absolutely phenomenal. She strikes the perfect balance between makeup that looks natural but that is also bold enough to photograph well. Additionally, she takes the time to perfect a look that fits what you want. Even my mom and mother-in-law, neither of whom wear much makeup, were thrilled with how they looked.

I would highly recommend her to any bride to be. It was overdue, It was time and I'm so glad I did it because now I have a quick, easy, daily look, I can do that. It makes me feel polished and confident going to work every day. I also have advanced techniques that I can play with if I'm feeling creative.

Another thing I'm taking away from this course is that Meagan fixed my skin. Marie G.
