Cons you have to be the right skin color this company is a joke. Training by a driver that was over worked by manager. More then once manager could have been a team player but always passed the bucket to the driver trainer. Manager always pushed communication but rarely was able to communicate. When issues came up you were expected to know what to do with 3 full days of training.
Told to call manager when problems would come up but wouldn't answer after 10pm so you would be calling the driver while he was on a route trying to figure it out. Told by multiple drivers that no one stays longer than 6 months.
Pros Driver was very helpful and good at training while able to balance everything on his plate. Cons Work site needs new management or management classes. Very poorly run company, if you work every Saturday they think you're the greatest driver on the planet,you can work your tush off Monday thru Friday, but will get treated poorly just cause you want to enjoy your weekends with family.
Also the trucks have allot of miles,and poorly maintained,everything is repair maintenance, when should be preventive maintenance. Pros Paid for lunch. Cons Poor equipment, terrible insurance. Some company politics played. Commissions are low. Family run corporate structure.
Training programs and sales support is lacking. Department managers clash. There is no clear structor or company vision. Pros Can be fun at times. Havent started working at the company yet but hope it is a great company like im hearing and hope to stay for a long time depending on the management.

Physically it's a reasonably easy job since all I got to do is connect and disconnect trailers and drive the truck from one destination to another The only drawback is it's mostly night shift work.
